400 Professionals with 7 offices including Washington, DC, and Beijing, China. 50+ Labor/Employment Attorneys presently on staff in the offices outside of Chicago. Labor and Employment is a significant practice offering of the firm, with particular strengths in traditional Labor Law, Union Avoidance, Class Action and Collective Action.

The client's goal is to start up a Labor and Employment practice with a group of successful attorneys already established in the Chicago market. The firm is highly committed to this goal and foresees Chicago potentially as the largest office in the firm as a result of demographics and location. We are seeking Partner Level candidates. We also would be interested in Associates and staff in appropriate cases. We are seeking attorneys with substantial portable business, looking for a better platform to take their practice to the next level.

The firm has a strong competitive spirit that is directed externally rather than internally. The firm goes to great lengths to assure a collegial atmosphere for its people. Professional turn over at the Partner level in the firm is astoundingly low.

Qualifications
Client is seeking partners and an appropriate number of associates who are well established in Labor and Employment.

Could be from a full service or boutique firm. Must be interested in creating more value for your clients and possess the ability/desire to cross sell firm services beyond labor and employment. Seeking Partners who desire an organization where Labor and Employment are a critical part of the firm’s service offerings.
