Financial Project Consultant

With overnight travel averaging less than 15%, the Project Officer (Consultant) will secure appointments with qualified prospects. On site visits will be arranged for Consultant Teams to prepare a situation analysis of the prospect’s company. The Financial Project Officer will evaluate the client’s financial condition. Financial Project Officer will also be assigned as Lead Consultant for some clients. Upon the completion of the analysis, as part of the consultant team, will contribute to the creation of a Strategic Business Plan for recommendations for change. Upon acceptance of the Business Plan, the consultant will then oversee the contracted implementation phase and monitor progress to completion.

Solutions may include marketing research, process improvement, software applications, CE Markings, ISO Implementation processes, plant layout, new product design and development.

Additional responsibilities will include monitoring internal accounting systems and procedures to assure compliance with GAAP. Responsible for Monthly Financial Statements, various other financial reporting, as well as preparation for and coordinating the annual, independent audit. Time commitment: 15-20%.

Qualifications
Client is seeking an individual who desires a transition from corporate and or public accounting employment to a Consultative role or from of a proven Consultative background.

Comfortable dealing with company officers and entrepreneurs. The ability to demonstrate business development skills.

Well developed written and verbal communication skills. (Convincing and credible) High attention to detail. Excellent follow through skills, demonstrates Integrity and honesty.

Position requires a high level of intelligence and resourcefulness. Team player.

Bachelors Degree. CPA (highly desirable with audit experience)

Strong knowledge of accounting, systems, and procedures. Specific knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus.
